Good Times at Publicans with Sammy Tri-State

Thirty-five fraters from ~8 chapters spanning almost as many decades enthusiastically attended the spring Sammy Tri-State Happy Hour at Sammy-owned Publicans.

We were treated to a private room. The Tri-Sate Alumni Club got the party started with a buffet of bar food and appetizers. It was good to see new faces in addition to plenty of regulars.

The event was 6 til 8pm on paper, but it was still going strong when I left at 10pm.

New relationships were sparked and old ones were rekindled. Fras James Albanese and Michael Kawochka picked up a conversation from where they left off 30 years ago.

The best thing about events like this and alumni clubs like Sammy Tri-State is that the good times don't end after 4 years -- they can continue ever staunch and true for a lifetime, while starting new friendships decades after undergrad.
